Taking advantage of opportunistically collected historical occurrence data to detect responses to climate change: The case of temperature and Iberian dung beetles:

A new study authored by Mario Mingarro, published in Ecology and Evolution, reveals that climate change could geographically displace many species of beetles. This study underscores the need to consider whether the species within an isolated KBA will be able to adapt or disperse in the face of climate change, affecting their long-term viability.
