Effects of elevation and microclimatic temperatures on butterfly-flower interaction networks in a Mediterranean mountain range

A new study authored by Mario Mingarro was published in BioRxiv (and accepted in Insect Conservation and Diversity), highlights how microclimatic conditions influence the robustness of ecological interactions. This study suggests that the diversity of microclimates within a KBA identified as isolated could be an important factor in maintaining the resilience of interactions in the face of disturbances.
